The EVMaine.org Mission
To increase public awareness and acceptance of battery electric vehicles in Maine.
To encourage Mainers to buy, build and drive battery electric vehicles to reduce their reliance on expensive and unstable imported oil supplies.
To reduce pollution in Maine by promoting zero emissions battery electric vehicles here.
To encourage the installation of public charging stations in Maine for battery electric vehicles.
To advocate for the creation and expansion of a battery electric vehicle industry in Maine.
To help mitigate both Global Climate Change and the effects of Peak Oil by doing all of the above.
To present the latest news about battery electric vehicles from all over the world to let every visitor to this websidte know how widespread and advanced this field already is.
The EVMaine.org Staff:
The Director is William Drinkwater. He was born and raised in Maine. He has a BA in Liberal Arts from Sonoma State University in California and a BS in Public Administration from the University of Maine at Augusta. He is retired and lives in Belmont, Maine near the small coastal city of Belfast.
There are currently no other staff or volunteers with this website.
